Christopher Semder, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Semder earned his medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine in 2007. He then completed his residency in internal medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Following this, he completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease in 2013 and interventional cardiology in 2014, also at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Semder has extensive training in complex coronary angioplasty, peripheral vascular interventions, and structural heart disease interventions, including ASD/PFO closure and transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TAVR).
Dr. Semder has been involved in multiple national multi-center studies involving topics such as STEMI management and hypothermia, bioresorbable stents, and transcatheter aortic valve replacements.
